Mission Statement
As members of the DeWitt UMC family we will accept each person in love and
challenge each person to Christian discipleship and ministry.
We do this by:
Helping each other by striving to live up to the values, teachings, and example
of Christ.
Challenging others to respond more deeply and generously to God’s love in
Christ.
Cherishing the variety of our backgrounds, Christian experiences, and calls to
ministry as a gift of God.
Enhancing our commitment to family and youth ministries and mission service.
Adopted by action of the Charge Conference, October 29, 2000.
